INSIDE THE STUDIO
Studio Tapestry specialise in bold, contemporary floral design. We create artful, sculptural, painterly creations that are rich with texture, considered with colour and layered with decadent detail.
Our clients and couples are drawn to our work for its subtle drama, unexpected use of colour, unusual ingredients and abstract yet nature-inspired compositions. Our work is always floral-heavy in style and strives to balance modern flair with eternal elegance.
Colour sits at the heart of everything we do. We’re passionate about finding combinations that feel elevated and surprising and love to design palettes that shift the mood of a room and make each design completely bespoke.
We transform venues with compositions that spark conversation, inspire the senses and transport guests to another place or time. Like the intricate tapestries referred to in our studio’s brand, we love to layer and weave together intentionally chosen ingredients alongside other still life objects and styling elements to create deeper narrative and meaning in every creation.
We work across the UK to bring our abundant floral sculptures to life for weddings, brands and events. We experiment fearlessly, always pushing the boundaries of traditional floral design to create settings that are multi-layered, abundant and filled with drama.

A FEW WORDS FROM JESS...
Hello, I’m Jess, Founder and Creative Director of Studio Tapestry.
My desire to create began at a very young age, my parents’ kitchen table was a continual hub of artistic experiments, from sand sculptures and papier-mâché castles to flower pressing and découpage with my wonderful Grandma. Mixed media work was always a clear interest as evident in the direction of many school art projects – I loved to create things that were layered, textured and multi-dimensional, ‘flat’ was never my thing! My early experiments very much guided my later move into floral design and my desire to create living, abundant sculptures.
Prior to starting Studio Tapestry, I spent a decade working in brand marketing, events and shoot production. Although I was always lucky enough to work in a creative environment, there was always a deeper desire to be at the creative helm myself. After a foray into wedding planning and a glimpse into the world of floristry I realised flowers were my calling.
My past career experience means I’m adept at balancing meticulous event planning and logistics with expert client communication, all whilst ensuring the studio’s work is always fearlessly unique and creative.
My studio’s home is a pretty beamed barn on a private farm in the leafy Berkshire countryside. We have incredible growers on our doorstep and my team and I often spot deer just beyond the studio doors, eager for a peek at the creative work unfolding beyond. Studio days are fuelled by many cups of coffee, banana muffins from our favourite cycle cafe and visits from passionate flower enthusiasts participating in the art workshops run next door.
Outside of work, I love to pour creativity into decorating our Victorian home, hosting friends and family with innovative feasts and attempting overly-ambitious craft projects with my little ones.
I'm privileged that my work takes me all over the UK and I thrive off the variety and diversity of the briefs I am lucky enough to work on from couples and clients nationwide.
